Tripping out at St Kilda beach, February 2006

St Kilda beach, south Dunedin, right next to St Clair beach by a gorgeous summertime day in the Edinbourgh of the south (it happens sometimes indeed lol).
The south pacific ocean was 13 degrees though.
I shot David Hasselhof by surprise, lucky me!
What a great shape...

This beach means heaps to me as I love walking, running, chatting and chilling out along the golden sand...full of memories, I'll enormously miss it!

The friendly and international crew at the beach...beach soccer contest then pictures session...
3-2 France- Israel in final, great fun.
Germany completed this lively team;

*Eyal (Israel, red top), with who I'm flatting for a while and working from time to time at central backpackers...and jamming the guitar with passion, even busking in front the countdown (supermarket) at some stage, we met each other from xmas through Karen (friend and owner of the backpackers).

* Andre (Germany, green top), we met each other during the rug show, we'been flatting 2 months together,

* Benjamin (Germany, white striped top), also met at the rug show, currently lives in Queenstown (cf Fordland trip).

Eyal looks awesome aye!

Haka session...

It looks kind of gay, doesn't it?

I

My favourite pic by far...

All of them with the timer of course! It turned out the pyramid collapsed lol

National Sport...January 2006

Well...I'm not passionate in cricket at all.
But as a sportperson, I gave it a try in Dunedin recently at least to undersdand a couple of rules to get into it...I actually didn't...I mean I did understand the rules but did not get into it :-0
Whatever...but we've got to consider that cricket is the national sport in NZ!!!
That's crazy,isn't it?
but that's the way it is...
A lovely chilled out day in the university area though.

U2 tickets experience...

Artcle edited in the paper...I was there...
...under the rain after a long sleepless night...

...meeting great people though!

Looks cosy and comfy but wasn't at all!
Jamming the guitar at some stage...U2 on the troph!

Unfortunately, the shop sold out the tickets when I got by the doorstep...after 12h waiting...that was my fate I guess.
It would have been a fabulous achivement to watch the gig in NZ but it's no big deal either as I saw them in France in 1997...You just kinda get addicted to such a show!
