Recent uploads and posts...instructions (english & french)

ENGLISH:

Just for you to know that beyond the fact that I've been updating my blog lately with quite a few pictures, some new pictures have been uploaded in the following post:

  • Central lakes district, NZ

Furthermore, there are 2 new posts in the previous archives, which have been dated to when it happened:

  • Minastirith, NZ
  • Dunedin, 3 month shared accomodation

So basically, if you people want to mess around throughout the archives, you just click on the chosen month (right hand side), and all the photos taken that month will be appearing on the screen!

Of course, check the blog from time to time as some surprises might be coming up anytime...

Hoping to hear from you swiftly,

Have a good one.

  • Central lakes district, Nouvelle Zelande

De plus, j'ai ajoute 2 nouvelles archives qui apparaissent aux dates auxquelles les evenements se sont deroules...

  • Minastirith, NZ
  • Dunedin, 3 month shared accomodation

En bref, si vous voulez naviguer au travers de mon blog, vous cliquez sur le mois choisi (droite de l'ecran), vous aurez ainsi acces a toutes les photos prises durant ce mois!

Je vous embrasse bien fort,

Nico

News...news...news...

Hi mates!

At last, pretty much updated with my blog...It didn't happen in a blue moon!

Just the comments to come up swiftly, sorry again about the lack of inspiration lately!
By the way, I count on you for the comments as well...and thank you so much for those who supported me through this blog;
I notably think of Ben, Erwan, Vador, Sharon, Emilie...

19 months overseas by now, and quite willing and ready to get back home...although I'm still enjoying my time in Aussie.
I mean, when I say ready, it's more the fact of being eager to see my friends. I'm rather sure I can't deal with the fact of being stuck in France either...it's ages away , we'll see what happens till then!
Well, it's a bit confusing as most of you guys know...the worst is that I 've experienced this 3 years ago (Reunion island), but although it wasn't for the same amount of time (3 months), it doesn't make any better anyway!

Anyway...still 3 months to thrill and no way I'm not gonna seize the day.

Another month in Northern Queensland and then, hitting the road again, just my guitar and I as Natalie and I decided to travel separately for some reasons.
Probably towards Northern territory and Darwin or Western Australia and Broome (it depends on the budget), I let you know ASAP.
I definately recommend to watch "Wolf Creek" to freak out before such an adventure!
Basically, I've got to find a last job to afford buying my plane ticket and fingers crossed, I'll be heading back home for Christmas!

Here are plenty of photos of my past 3 months in Australia.

Enjoy,

Love heaps

Eyal and I at the flat in Port Douglas and then Eyal, Dewaine (flatmate) and me.
We just picked up some coconuts on the beach, simple but enjoyable things of a lifetime!

"Rendez- vous" resort in Port Douglas , July -> Sept. 2006

Some black & white pictures of the resort where Natalie and I have been working for over 2 months...
Natalie at the restaurant and myself on grounds and gardens maintenance.
A tough start but afterwhile, good fun although it's hard work!
My buggy is helping me out...
By the way, I just love black and white, there is something about it!

Finding Nemo...Great barrier reef, August 2006.

Eyal and I on the great barrier reef, day loaded with emotions...
As certified divers, we enjoyed 2 awesome non- guided dives and some snorkelling in the wild!

The anecdote is we look a bit tired as we went out in Cairns the night before...;-)

See you back in Europe my friend and hope you'll thrill during your Adventures in OZ!
Was great to see you and to recall the country of the long white cloud together!

The flames of the forest...Port Douglas, August- Sept. 2006

The flames of the forest is a unique concept in the middle of the rainforest...fine dining with enchanting setting and shows in the wild, with the creek flowing by the dining area...about 1/2h driving from Port Douglas.
I've been working there for about a month, in food and beverage attendance.
Even the crew and the guests are really nice!
I've used a 30'' exposure for most of the pictures.

Gary and robert, arboriginal brothers keeping the good spirit up...

300 candles are lighting the mighty forest.

Mossman gorge day trip. August 2006

We met each other in Dunedin for Christmas 2005 and had a lot of fun together...
Eyal, my israeli friend was in Port Douglas for a week lately and we took advantage of the situation to hire a mini moke to head to Mossman gorge.

From the dense rainforest to 4 mile beach, from diving on the reef to the basketball contests, and from New Zealand to Australia, unforgettable emotions.

He headed off to Darwin and flew out from Northern territory to Brissie, to get back home by late October.
His girlfriend, Johanna (big hugs if you read this), is back in Germany and intend to study in Vienna...
So the next time we see each other, it's gonna be in Europe anyway!

Have a good one till then and take care of yourself!

Day trip in the Daintree forest, August 2006

Life is a beach...July 2006

Emilie gave me the hint ...sometimes, there is no need of comments, the pics are speaking for themselves!
