Deserted beach by the rivermouth and the lighthouse in Greymouth, fishermen town, located on the fantastic westcoast of the South Island. The "real" west coast as I would define it, at least about the stunning seashore scenery.

A cottage by the shore, hammered by the tasman sea...
A lovely colorful sunset.

From the left hand side to the right; Dave, Lisa and Andrew.
Andrew was my room mate in Nelson, at the palace backpackers, right after I got off from the fishingboat trip.
I met Lisa at the palace as well and decided to catch up for a couple of days trip through the westcoast and Arthur's pass before she headed off to Germany...a lovely and lively person.
Dave was at the global village (hostel), in Greymouth when we dropped by...originaly for 1 night, finally for 2.
Indeed, one of the most epic night ever, with 2 americans we met on spot; Abe and Michelle...
Playing around drinking games, the guitar and drums all night long, great people and awesome experience!

A kaka
, wild bird of the mountains looking like a parrot, particularly friendly, especially if you intend to feed them...Watch out your fingers!!!

Arthur's pass and its large valley, filled up with moors and meadows, pretty much similar to the Rangitata valley (Edoras). We got lucky with the weather, a few stops along the road to shoot some pictures and a trip truly enjoyable!
